Dispatch Tickets integration — support tickets inside Clarion

Submit and follow support tickets without leaving Clarion. Each company connects its own Dispatch account, and client companies see only the tickets that belong to them.

Dispatch Tickets is a support ticketing tool. The Clarion integration puts a Tickets page in the sidebar, so the people who run the business can raise a support request, see where it stands and reply to it in the same place they run their week.

What your team sees

Once connected, anyone in the company can open Tickets, press New Ticket, and write a subject and the details. The ticket is filed in Dispatch under that person’s name and email address, so the support team knows who to answer.

The Tickets page lists tickets with their status — Open, Pending, Resolved or Closed — and a filter to narrow it down. Open a ticket to read the full thread and send a reply. Replies from the support team show up in the same view.

Every company brings its own key

There is no shared Clarion account in Dispatch. Each company’s owner or admin pastes that company’s Dispatch API key into Settings, then chooses which Dispatch brand tickets should land in. The key is stored encrypted and never shown again; Clarion shows only its last few characters. Disconnecting makes Clarion forget the key and deletes nothing in Dispatch.

Built for agencies that support their clients

If you run several companies in Clarion — an agency with client companies, for example — the company that owns the Dispatch desk can switch the Tickets tab on for each client and match it to that client’s company record in Dispatch.

From then on:

  • The agency sees every ticket in its brand, with the name of whoever reported it.
  • Each client sees only tickets reported by its own people. Until a client is matched to a company in Dispatch, its tab shows nothing at all — Clarion never falls back to showing a client the whole desk.

Your Dispatch key is never copied to client companies. Switching the module on for a client gives it a Tickets tab served by your desk, not access to your account. If you add an email domain when you create the client’s company in Dispatch, emailed tickets from that domain land in the client’s tab without anyone sorting them.

Who can set it up

Connecting an account, disconnecting it and choosing which client companies get a Tickets tab are limited to owners and admins — see roles and permissions. Everyone else in a connected company can submit and reply to tickets.

Getting started

Follow Connect Dispatch Tickets for the steps. If you manage client companies, set those up first with Manage client companies, then turn Tickets on for each one from the same Settings section.

Tickets complement, rather than replace, Clarion’s own challenges: a challenge is an issue your team discusses and solves in its sync, while a ticket is a request to an outside support team.
