If you’re a consultant, coach or agency, you can run each client as its own company inside your Clarion account. Each client gets its own teams, milestones, metrics, syncs and people, and your staff can move between them from one login. Adding and managing client companies is open to Owners and Admins.
Add a client company
- Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Company Settings.
- Open All Companies. Each of your companies is listed with its clients indented beneath it.
- Under your company, click Add Client Company.
- Enter the Company Name (required). Optionally add an Industry and choose a Company Size.
- Click Add Client Company.
The client appears under your company with a Client tag. You’re its Owner, and it starts with its own Leadership team, just like a new company. Anyone at your firm who has All Clients access is added to it automatically.
Add Company at the top of the same page creates another top-level company instead — a separate business you run, not a client.
Give your staff access
You have two ways to put your own people into a client:
- From the client’s row: click Members, choose someone from Add a user…, pick a role (Admin, Full Access, Advisor or Contractor) and click Add. Only people already in your account appear in the list.
- From the person’s row: in your firm’s Team & Permissions, click a member to expand them. Under Client Company Access, switch each client on or off, or switch on All Clients.
See Advisor access for how these differ and which roles they grant.
Invite the client’s own people
The client’s employees are invited from inside the client company:
- Switch to the client — use the company switcher at the top of the sidebar, or click Open on its row in All Companies.
- Go to Company Settings → Team & Permissions and click Invite Member.
Follow the steps in Invite your team. People invited this way join only that client, not your firm or your other clients.
Move between clients
The company switcher at the top of the sidebar lists your companies with their clients nested beneath. Pick one and Clarion opens its dashboard. Everything you see is that company’s data until you switch again.
Compare clients on one page
At the bottom of the company switcher, Owners and Admins see All Companies. It shows a card for every company you belong to, with:
- A Health Score and label: Healthy (80 and up), Needs Attention (60–79) or At Risk (below 60).
- Milestones on track, Metrics on target (judged on each metric’s latest value; metrics with no target or no values yet aren’t counted), open Challenges (and how many are escalated), and the Last Sync.
The score is weighted 40% on the share of milestones on track or completed and 40% on the share of metrics on target. The last 20 points are yours unless challenges are escalated: each escalated challenge takes off one point, up to four. Counts at the top show how many companies are in each band. Click Open Dashboard to switch into one. The consultant guide on monitoring your client portfolio covers how to use this each week.
Delete a client
In Settings → All Companies, click the trash icon on the client’s row, then Yes. The icon only appears on companies you own. Deleting a client permanently removes its teams, milestones, metrics, articles and other data.
Getting a client started
A new client is empty. A typical first session: invite their leadership team, build their vision board together, and import their milestones if they already track goals in a spreadsheet. The consultant guide on onboarding a client company walks through the first month.
